Mad For Markers...

Yep... I am..lol. I forgot how much I love colouring with my copics. I am so happy to be back into the swing of things and designing again for Mad For Markers and I am absolutely loving the current Challenge that is begin run on the Mad For Markers Challenge Blog. The challenge is to try out some new colour combinations, and it's a great way to challenge yourself to step away from your favourites and give something new ago. I tried out a new skin combination, and a new blonde hair combination. I really like these two new combinations, they seem to give my images a lot more depth. Here is what I shared on the Mad For Markers store blog yesterday.
Hope you enjoyed my share today, and I will be back again in a few days with a Scrappy page to share soon.

Ready To Learn, Discover, Grow...

So a couple of weeks ago, over on the Scraploot blog, it was my turn to share with our customers a Step by Step layout. For this months DT kit I was given Little Yellow Bicycle - Head of the Class Collection, which has been just perfect for me to capture the events leading up to our little man starting school, along with getting pages ready for the BIG first day... Can't believe that this time next week it will be the night before the big day.

If you are interested in re-creating this layout, head on over to the Scraploot blog where you can find the step by step instructions, you will also find the supply list there too, which is all available at the Scraploot store.

Counting....

I know you are shocked... three posts in less than a week... I told you this year I was trying to be a better blogger. First of all hop on over to the Scraploot Blog to check out my post from today, using the Little Yellow Bicycle - Head of The Class collection. I've already created our little mans' First Day of School layout.
Secondly, I have just now added to my left side bar a 2012 Achievements section. This year for the first year ever I want to keep count of how many layouts I actually create. No... I am not out to create some huge number of layouts I'm just curious as to see how many I actually create. I will say that I am aiming to complete at least 52, as I have decided this year to get on the band wagon and complete a 52 Weeks album. I really enjoyed documenting during December, through the Shimelle, Journal Your Christmas Class. I may not have completed all my layouts yet, but I did journal and take photos every day in December. It made me realise some of the little details we often forget or don't value but in years to come it may be just what we need to remember. I'd love to know who is stopping by my little blog, if you do, please leave me a comment, as I am always looking for new blogs to follow for some added inspiration.
Till next time, take care,

Rach xoxo
